Hello again! Wow, it has been a while since I have posted! My summer has been super busy with spring and summer classes at school, work, and an amazing Europe trip I took with my cousin! We went for two weeks and we visited the cities Vienna, Prague and Budapest. All three cities were incredible but Prague was by far my favorite; it was absolutely stunning and it felt like I was in a fairytale!
As the summer is coming to an end and I have about a week left before I begin my last semester of university, I felt like making a cake! So I baked a chocolate layer cake, with vanilla buttercream-raspberry filling and frosted it with pink and white vanilla buttercream!
After crumb coating the cake with a thin layer of frosting, I decided to practice the flower petal decorating technique! It is one of the prettiest cake decorating techniques I have seen! I did this by piping a line of 3 dots, then using the back of a small teaspoon I gently dragged the buttercream to the right until the entire side of the cake was covered.
Then I decorated the top by dragging the piped vanilla buttercream dots into the center. And I topped it off with a delicious raspberry!
I ended up bringing the cake over to my boyfriend`s friends house for dessert and it was a hit!
